Cricket tournament management software for clubs and leagues

Plan a tournament, publish fixtures and let everyone follow the table. Sightscreen keeps fixtures, squads, live scores, points and awards in one system, so there is no spreadsheet to update after each match.

Workflow

From first fixture to final

Create the tournament and add the teams; generate fixtures for round robin, knockout, or league plus knockout; publish the squads; score each match; watch the standings update.

Formats

Formats the fixture engine supports

Tournaments can run as a round robin, a knockout bracket, or a league stage followed by knockout. Round robin builds every unique pairing once. Knockout fills a single-elimination bracket with byes to the next power of two. Standings use points for wins, losses, ties and no-results or abandoned matches, with net run rate and tiebreakers of points, wins, net run rate or head to head. When complete, awards name the champion and runner-up plus most runs, most wickets, most sixes, most fours and player of the tournament.

Standings

Points tables with net run rate

Standings update from the scorecards, with points and net run rate worked out for you. Tiebreakers can use points, wins, net run rate or head to head.

Awards

Awards

When the tournament completes, Sightscreen names the champion and runner-up from the standings, and shows awards such as most runs, most sixes and most fours from the scorecards.

Scoring

The rules are handled

Free hits, penalty runs, declarations, Super Overs and revised targets (including Duckworth–Lewis Standard Edition) are part of scoring.

Audience

Who it suits

Club leagues, corporate and university tournaments, and academy competitions. See the Sightscreen home page for the full club system, including the pavilion TV board.

Squads

Publish squads and score on the same system

Before a match starts, both sides publish a match squad of at least two players. Scorers set the toss, openers and bowler, then record every ball. Free hits, penalty runs, declarations and Super Overs are available when the match needs them. Abandoned and no-result fixtures move to Results so the table stays honest.
